Here at Heritage Toyota Harrisburg, we know that moving from a gasoline-powered Toyota model to a Toyota EV can be a big transition to make. Navigating the charging and electrical upgrades can be a daunting task, but now there is a solution that makes it easier. Toyota has partnered with Treehouse®, a specialized operating system designed to turn the world of home charging into a simple, one-stop shop. This is an overview of how the Treehouse® partnership simplifies EV charging.

Accurate Installation Quotes Without An In-Person Visit

One of the most innovative aspects of the Treehouse® program is its ability to provide accurate installation quotes without requiring an initial in-person visit. It uses virtual technology to allow you to submit a few photos of your electrical panel setup and a brief survey to receive a firm price in 48 hours or less. Once the installation has been approved, Treehouse® manages every logistical detail, including the hiring of vetted, licensed electricians and the filing of necessary local permits. This means that you only need to schedule a single visit for the actual installation.

Level 2 Charging Hardware

Every 2026 and newer Toyota EV model, which includes the Toyota bZ SUV and the Toyota bZ Woodland, comes standard with a dual-voltage charging cable. This allows you to use either a 120-volt or 240-volt outlet. And by working with Treehouse® to install a 240-volt outlet, you can charge your vehicle from 10 percent to full capacity overnight. The program also offers ChargePoint® Home Flex™, which can be hardwired to reduce charging times by up to 30 percent.
