The 2025 Toyota Prius is equipped with a hybrid powertrain, which consists of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors. They deliver up to 194 horsepower (or 196 horsepower in AWD models) and 139 lb-ft of torque. It also features a high-tech interior, which is available with a 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration, SiriusXM® satellite radio, and an eight-speaker JBL® premium audio system.
Bold New Trim Level
The most notable change for the 2025 year is the model lineup. The 2024 Toyota Prius was available in three distinct trim levels: LE, XLE, and Limited. For the first time, the Toyota Prius is now available with a Nightshade Edition as well.
Nightshade Edition Details
The Nightshade Edition adds even more striking details to the stylish hatchback. It features blacked-out styling, including black badging, black mirror caps, black door handles, black bumper trim, and 19-inch alloy wheels with a black finish. The cabin includes black SofTex®-trimmed front seats with gray stitching, and it’s also available with a fixed glass roof.
New Exterior Color Available
You can also opt for a new exterior color option with the Nightshade Edition. It’s available in Midnight Black Metallic, Wind Chill Pearl, or a new-for-2025 Karashi. Karashi means mustard in Japanese and reflects the eye-catching yellow shade.
