However, the engine in the 2025 model was tuned to deliver extra torque, equating to an extra-enticing 295 lb-ft of torque.
Automatic Transmission Option
Both the 2024 and the 2025 Toyota GR Corolla come equipped with a six-speed intelligent manual transmission. However, the 2025 model has a new option. Select models are available with an eight-speed Gazoo Racing direct automatic transmission, which includes paddle shifters so you can stay in tune with all the fun.
Improved Suspension
The 2025 model also includes an enhanced suspension. Its front and rear dampers have rebound springs, which helps to reduce wheel lift. The rear springs have also been adjusted to help keep you grounded and the trailing arm mounting point has been raised over an inch.
New Model Available
The Toyota GR Corolla is no longer available with a Circuit Edition and now features a Premium Plus trim level. It includes a forged carbon fiber roof which helps to give the hatchback a reduced weight and lower center of gravity. It also has a high-mounted rear spoiler and red contrast stitching inside to give it a bold look.
